On Friday evening in the final South of Scotland League match of the season Mid Annandale scored seven against Wigtown and Bladnoch who could only find one in reply.  Luke Hammond scored after only two minutes with Nathan Muir adding a second fifteen minutes later.  With twenty five minutes played Wigtown were awarded a penalty that was converted by Thomas Garrett but in the thirty sixth minute Dean Smith found a third for the visitors.  A minute later Hammond scored a fourth to give the Lockerbie side a comfortable half time lead.  Mids added another three goals after the break with Smith scoring his second of the night in the sixty fourth minute.  In the seventy fourth minute Kyran Jackson scored goal number six and right on the final whistle Lee Graham found the net for a seventh.   On Saturday Bonnyton Thistle reached the final of the League Cup when they travelled to Dumfries and beat Lochar Thistle by four goals to nil.  Kriss Kerr scored a double to add to singles from Chris Kelly and Kyle Gilroy. The Kilmarnock side will now play either Heston Rovers or Upper Annndale in the final. The Cree Lodge Cup Final between Mid Annandale and Stranraer will not now go ahead with the Lockerbie side being awarded a victory due to Stranraer having fielded an ineligible player in a previous round. Mid Annandale will now receive this seasons trophy without competing in the cup final.
